Scott Shibayama founded Vision Law Corporation to help entrepreneurs, small and medium business owners succeed in business through a team of business-saavy employment and labor law professionals. Scott focuses his practice on employment and labor law. He has defended over 40 employment litigation or arbitration cases for employers such as Safeway Inc., 24 Hour Fitness, NEC Electronics, Hewlett-Packard Company, Packard Bell/NEC, Pep Boys, State Compensation Insurance Fund, Crystal Bottling Company, Heritage Propane Corporation, Autozone and Elliott Homes. Scott now makes Fortune 500 counsel and representation available to the small business owner.

Scott's areas of expertise include: unlawful harassment, discrimination under title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Fair Employment and Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, unfair competition, fraudulent inducement to change employment, Labor Code 970 claims, class actions, representative actions under Business and Professions code section 17200, misappropriation of trade secrets, confidentiality and nondisclosure, breach of contract, breach of the covenant of good faith and fair dealing, breach of contract under section 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, whistle blower claims under various statutes, including Labor Code 11025, various tort claims for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and fraud, discrimination and leave claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act or the California Family Rights Act, Labor Code 132a claims, serious and willful misconduct claims, wage claims and claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). When defending employers, Scott utilizes his special expertise and techniques to resolve cases quickly in the most cost efficient manner consistent with client goals and expectations.
