SCOTT SHIBAYAMA: As the founder for Vision Law Corporation, my personal vision for the firm is focused on small business representation so that the small business owner can succeed in business and not be hampered in their growth by a devastating employment lawsuit.
We spend most of our time in prevention. We love to litigate and we're very good at it; however, when there's a lawsuit filed, the small business owner has lost. So the idea with Vision Law Corporation helping our small business owners out is we need to prevent the problem as opposed to trying to provide the cure for the problem. And again, we're very good at the cure, but by the time we're at that point, the small business owner has lost a lot of money. And the reason Vision exists and why it was founded is, particularly for the business owner, to be able to prevent their employment labor law problems at a price they can afford.
